Dave Bolderoff on Electric Equipment

May 27, 2022

Dave Bolderoff, CEM, has been an advocate of alternative fuel vehicles for years, and he has had ample opportunity to study and use these fuel sources in his work with the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts.

Bolderoff is fleet manager in the fleet management & transportation section of the Sanitation Districts, a past chair of the Association of Equipment Management Professionals, and a member of the Under 40 in Construction Equipment Class of 2015.

Bolderoff spoke to Rod Sutton, editorial director of Construction Equipment, about compact electric equipment. In this video, he discusses acquisition strategies and offers ways fleet managers can begin the process of bringing electric equipment into their fleets.

Our mission is to help managers of heavy equipment and trucks to improve their performance in acquiring and managing their fleets. One way we do that is with our Executive Institute, where experts share information and ideas that will enable equipment managers to accurately manage equipment costs so that they can deliver the optimum financial benefits to their organizations.

We also have a laser focus on product development, performance, and technology; as well as equipment acquisition, disposal, and maintenance. Our exclusive Field Tests take earthmoving equipment and truck into the field for professional evaluations.
